I’m so glad that you were my first point of MIT contact, Joel. You embody the ministry model that you teach here. It never felt threatening or triumphalist and you were always deeply respectful of the personhood of those to whom you speak. If everyone, Mormon or not, experienced this ‘finding out about God’ journey as a joint endeavour, the trust that has already been seriously rattled for the Mormon in transition could be protected in their ‘coming to true faith’ journey to Jesus Christ.
